Battery life has been solid, and the features are actually useful. I have not used every button personally because I mostly play casual shooting games and arcade shooters, but it is nice to have the extra controls there.
Being able to pick up the gaming gun and jump into a shooting game feels really fun. It makes the game feel more active than using a normal controller. The recoil/vibration effect is a nice touch, not too crazy but enough to make it feel more immersive. Setup took me a little time the first day, mostly adjusting the aim and sensitivity, but after that it was much easier.
The gun feels comfortable to hold, though after longer play sessions my arms did get a little tired, which is expected. It is best when you have some open space in front of the TV. My kids and friends all wanted to try it, and it is definitely more fun for game nights than playing alone.
Overall I have not had any connection issues so far, and I use it almost every weekend. If you like shooting games or want more of an arcade feeling at home, this is a really fun accessory.
